Day 7 – Clam Dip

It’s so good, and you’ll have people asking “what is in the dip?” Clams are something most people squirm away from, but they will be sticking by the bowl!! It’s a great dip and different from what you typically see. Don’t start counting the calories, just eat it!


Day 7 – Clam Dip


2 cans clams, reserve water from can

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature (light or reduced fat)

¼ c. chopped parsley

½ c. sour cream

½ c. chopped onion

2 Tbsp clam juice or reserved water from can

1/3 tsp celery salt

1 lemon, juiced

Salt and pepper to taste


Place all ingredients into food processor, except salt and pepper. Once pureed, add salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Serve with potato chips, crackers, carrot and celery sticks, etc. If using crackers, this dip is best with a salty cracker or chip.
