A Month of Super Bowl Dips and Apps

Exactly one month from today, you will likely be attending or throwing a Super Bowl Party. It’s the finale to 16 weeks of regular season games and for some, regaining your friends and family on Sundays and Monday nights. As we celebrate our favorite team in playing their final game(s) of the season, here are 31 days of dips and appetizer ideas for your party!

Day 1 – Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

1 can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)

3 roasted red peppers

2 large garlic cloves

1 chopped green onion

1 Tbsp Tahini paste

Salt and pepper to taste

3 Tbsp Olive Oil

In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients EXCEPT the olive oil. Blend for about 1 minute. Slowly poor in olive oil and blend until smooth. For a more smooth consistency, add more oil. This is easy, takes 10 minutes max to make and is edible immediately. It can also be made a day ahead. Flavor will marinate and will make your guests ask where you bought the hummus.

This makes about two and a half cups and is easy to double. Serve with pita chips, carrot and celery sticks, crackers, pita wedges, etc.

Enjoy!
